Blue Onyx is a web-based graphic user interface (GUI) which allows its users to manage most aspects of their VPS package through a browser-based interface. It is a Linux distribution (based on CentOS v5.6) and is open source software, released under a Sun modified BSD license.

Blue Onyx includes support for Java Servlet Pages, built-in web-based email and phpMyAdmin. It also includes brute force login detection and prevention mechanisms, subdomain management, a GUI to automatically create and remove MySQL users and databases, PHP security management, working vacation messages, built-in JSP support and YUM update support.

Blue Onyx comes pre-installed with PHP5 and MySQL5. It also has a GUI to modify SSH settings (root access, port and protocols).
